Audition Instructions
Beginning Band
- No audition is required.
- This ensemble is intended for students who are starting on their instrument.
- “Music and Arts” will be at East Ridge Middle School on Sunday June 7th, 10:00am to 11:30am, to help new students choose which instrument best fits them, and to complete any instrument rentals.
All Other Bands
- Download audition instructions pdf and read entirely before preparing your audition.
- Audition music and audition upload link is shown at the bottom of the auditions instructions pdf.
- Intermediate Band - intended for students who have just completed Beginning Band or need to further develop basic fundamentals and music reading.
- Advanced Band - intended for experienced middle school players and some high schoolers.
- Wind Ensemble - intended for advanced upper middle school students (honor band attendees or superiors on solos) and experienced high school students.
